11 Tips for Sex, Love and Relationship Coaches to Be More Profitable in 2025

Sex, Love and/or Relationship coaches, like any entrepreneur, can easily get caught in the swirl of trendy business advice flooding social media. It can be hard to determine which strategies are truly valuable in this unique industry and which are just gimmicks. With so much noise, it’s easy to feel pulled in different directions, distracted from your true goal as a coach: providing transformational healing and growth for your clients.

That’s why I interviewed 11 successful Sex, Love and Relationship coaches to uncover the real strategies that lead to profitability while keeping you in integrity with yourself and the mission of your mission as a coach. These are the tips they believe will serve you and your coaching practice in 2025 and beyond.

Tip 1: Peer Support = Sustainable, Heart-Led Success ~ Phoebe Rayner

Phoebe Rayner smiling with eyes closed, standing outdoors at night in front of tall greenery and soft lighting, wearing statement earrings and a white headscarf.

Phoebe Rayner emphasizes that building a professional community with other Sex, Love and Relationship coaches is just as important, if not more important, as growing a client base. She recommends investing in multiple levels of community support to accelerate business growth, avoid the inefficiencies of working in isolation:

  1. Intimate Mastermind: A small group of peer coaches at a similar experience level, each bringing a unique specialty to help one another grow.  By regularly meeting and sharing insights, coaches save time by learning from each other’s successes and challenges rather than struggling through trial and error alone.

  2. Broader Industry Network: WhatsApp and Facebook groups provide access to mentorship, legal updates and

professional support from worldwide coaches of varying experience levels. These spaces foster collaboration, troubleshooting and staying informed on changing industry regulations.

“For me, building community with other coaches to exchange business and emotional peer support has been the key to sustainable business growth and success,” says Phoebe. She believes that coaches, as relationship-builders, also need strong heart-led relationships themselves. A thriving support network is essential, not just for business success, but for staying inspired, resilient, and connected in an ever-evolving field.

Tip 2: Pleasure, Purpose Profit ~ Rosa Maxwell

Rosa Maxwell laughing joyfully while seated on a light-colored couch, wearing a rust-colored jumpsuit and gold jewelry, hands over heart in a playful, expressive pose.

Rosa Maxwell’s passion for helping Sex, Love and Relationship coaches build profitable businesses is contagious. As the Founder of the London School of Tantra, she has put deep thought into what truly works, and for her the answer is clear: community is key, particularly in-person community.

Rosa strongly believes that face-to-face connection accelerates building the trust factor. The workshop space allows for deeper relationships, stronger client retention and a sense of belonging that online spaces struggle to replicate. She also notes that as AI continues to reshape online interactions, in-person connections will become even more valuable.

Beyond deepening relationships, recurring in-person events create a reliable monthly income stream and provide consistent leads for One-on-One coaching and courses. Rosa has the stats to back this up:in February 2021, 80% of her One-on-One clients came from in-person events, 15% from referrals, and only 5% from Instagram, podcasts, or Google SEO.

Additionally, in-person communities give you direct insight into what your audience actually wants. “This way, as a coach, you’re not trying to tell them what they need,” Rosa explains. Instead, your community shows you how best to serve and market to them. This allows for slow, sustainable growth through a daily devotional practice—what Rosa calls “Pleasure, Purpose, Profit.”

Tip 3: Grow at a Natural Pace & Build a Business You Love ~ Sara Czerwinski

Sara Czerwinski smiling warmly in front of a soft white backdrop, wearing layered silver necklaces and natural makeup, with one hand gently touching her brown hair.

In a world where social media, podcasts and business articles constantly push the message of scaling fast, 2x, 3x, or more, Sara Czerwinski offers a different perspective: true growth needs to be sustainable. Based on her extensive business and personal experience, she recommends growing at a steady 2-7% per year, and however the growth happens, it should align with your capacity to hold the vision of the business, space for clients, events, income, success, visibility and worthiness. Scaling beyond what you can energetically sustain only leads to burnout.

For Sex, Love and Relationship coaches who are just starting out, or considering whether it’s time to scale, Sara encourages dreaming into how you truly want to spend your days. “Look within yourself to choose what YOU really love doing and what is true to you.” she advises. Do you thrive in One-on-One coaching? Do you want to work with couples? Do you love the energy of hosting retreats and special events? Or does running group programs excite you the most? Taking the time to experiment and explore ensures that your business model aligns with your true purpose and desires.

Sara knows this firsthand, what she envisioned for her coaching business three years ago is not even in the same ballpark as what she/s doing now. Over this time, she allowed herself to try new things, shift direction and let go of what didn’t resonate. Through this organic, intuitive process, she is building a business she truly loves.

Tip 4: Make the Transformation Clear ~ Sarah Curnoles

Sarah Curnoles smiling warmly while leaning against a red brick wall, wearing a black jacket and an ornate bronze pendant necklace.

Sarah Curnoles shares a tip that she wishes she learned earlier: communicate the transformation you help clients achieve. “Each of us already have had our own transformation but we struggle to communicate, ‘Do this so that this will happen,’” she reflects.

For Sex, Love and Relationship coaches, outcomes are often subjective, unlike business or finance coaching, where results can be easily monetized. That makes it even more important to clearly articulate the value of the work you do. Potential clients need to understand why you’re the right coach for them and what they’ll gain from working with you.

By making your transformation clear and direct, you not only help clients see the value of your work, but you also build trust and confidence both in them and in yourself.

Tip 5: Uncap Your Pleasure, Unlock Your Wealth ~ Chloe de Sousa

Chloe de Souza laughing joyfully while lounging on a burnt orange sofa, wearing a sparkling silver dress, thigh-high silver velvet boots, and a bold blue faux fur coat in a moody, glamorous setting.

Sex, money, and power are deeply intertwined, Chloe de Souza believes that how much pleasure you allow yourself to experience often mirrors the wealth and success you’re willing to receive. Chloe encourages coaches to first work through these internal blocks rooted in societal conditioning: the “pleasure cap," visibility shyness, and money limitation stories. As coaches expand their capacity for pleasure, visibility and wealth, they naturally create more freedom in their lives, and their businesses grow as a result.

On a practical level, Chloe stresses the importance of diversifying platforms to avoid censorship, especially in the Sex Coaching space, using email lists for stability while leveraging Instagram trends like one-line memes, long-form reels, and even visual podcasts on YouTube for sustainable, long-term growth.

Above all, Chloe emphasizes authenticity and being uncensored, writing as if speaking to your closest friends, embracing imperfection and allowing yourself to evolve. The world is thirsty for realness; assume that your audience will know when you’re faking it. In 2025, those who embody their truth will attract the most aligned clients. Chloe puts it simply, “Let your pussy speak.”

Tip 6: Mastering the Art of Coaching ~ Cornelia Scott

Cory Scott smiling in soft natural light, wearing a coral top and bold gold fringe earrings, with short salt-and-pepper hair and a radiant, confident presence.

Cornelia (Cory) Scott brings years of experience as a psychotherapist to her coaching practice, and her core recommendation to Sex, Love and Relationship coaches is simple: prioritize becoming a REALLY excellent coach. While many coaches focus on expanding their audience and creating content, Cory emphasizes that exceptional coaching naturally sells itself. When you deliver transformational results, clients become your best marketers, referring ideal clients from their own networks.  However, this approach does require a long-term perspective, as organic growth takes time. But, as Cory asserts, this method leads to a sustainable and deeply fulfilling business.

To achieve excellence, coaches must dedicate themselves to honing their craft, and this doesn’t necessarily mean more certifications. Cory strongly recommends implementing Case Consultation as early as possible when working with clients. While mandatory for psychotherapists, she has seen firsthand how peer support, professional mentorship and group consultation elevate coaching skills. These spaces offer safe real-world, on-the-job learning—a place to process challenges, refine techniques and have blind spots reflected back.

“Expertise in relating is so, so important and is why Sex, Love and Relationship coaches are going to continue to grow in demand,” Cory affirms. Great coaching isn’t just about tools or techniques, it’s about the depth of how you relate, connect and challenge your clients to expand. Coaches who commit to ongoing growth, relational mastery and professional support will build businesses with real staying power.

Tip 7: Be Specific, Be Memorable ~ Fabienne Annick

Fabienne Annick seated on a red velvet vintage sofa with patterned wallpaper behind her, wearing a checkered gold and black top, satin pants, and statement earrings, looking calmly at the camera with a poised expression.

In the crowded field of Sex, Love and Relationship coaching, Fabienne advises coaches to provide practical tools for very specific problems, challenges or sets of challenges. Broad promises like ‘highest pleasure’ or ‘fullest potential’ may sound appealing but they are too general, and a coach runs the risk of blending into the crowded field rather than making a memorable impact with potential clients. Instead, offering clear, actionable guidance on the real issues your ideal clients face ensures they will think of you in the moments that matter.  Consistently delivering valuable, educational content tailored to their experiences builds trust, often before they’ve even signed up to work with you.

In the end, the clients will choose you not just for your knowledge and skills, but because they have already experienced the value of your teachings and your essence through your content. As Fabienne puts it, “Be the product of your own work and show them who you be, and the wisdom you have!”

Tip 8: Alive Ever After ~ Annie Lalla

Annie Lalla smiling softly with both hands over her heart, wearing a teal top with intricate beading and colorful embroidered belt, standing against a white background with radiant presence.

A coach’s ability to attract clients and build a thriving business is directly tied to their relationship with value and worthiness. Annie Lalla encourages coaches to shift their identity away from external achievements, status, followers, intelligence, and instead pin it to how they LOVE. When a coach anchors their worth in their capacity to give and receive love, they naturally expand their ability to hold wealth, visibility, and success.

At its core, coaching is about holding unwavering belief in your clients’ dreams, even when they can’t. As Annie puts it, “If I could distill coaching down to one phrase, it’s ‘I believe in you.’” That deep belief is what clients are truly investing in.

To create more expansion, Annie advises coaches to become radically responsible for their nervous system’s well-being. By learning to track sensations, expansion vs. contraction, coaches increase their capacity to hold discomfort, uncertainty, and ultimately, greater aliveness. “We’re in the business of teaching people to be alive. Alive ever after, not happily ever after.”

The more a coach can sit in discomfort while keeping their heart open, the more trust, transformation, and profitability they create. True profitability, Annie asserts, isn’t just about strategy, it’s about aligning self-worth with the value you provide.

Tip 9: OWN Your Brilliance ~ Carrie Baquié

Carrie Baquié smiling confidently outdoors, wearing rainbow-accented glasses, a hot pink blazer, and a black lace top, with a gold starburst necklace and a blurred natural background.

Carrie Baquié wishes that she learned earlier in her coaching journey to be more direct and lean into her quirks and personality. In today’s social media-driven world, it’s easy to dilute your impact by trying to be relatable to everyone. Instead, Carrie encourages coaches to, “OWN your brilliance!” Lean into who you are and consistently present that brilliance to the world.

Carrie also emphasizes that many coaches are so weighed down by self-doubt that they consistently tweak their business strategies, abandoning new ideas after just a few weeks if they don’t see immediate results. She stresses the importance of giving messaging and launch strategies at least 6 months before deciding whether they work or if it’s time to try something else.  “You’re playing the long game, you want to be more like an oak rather than a wildflower,” Carrie reinforces.

Staying rooted in who you are while remaining flexible to shifts in your business allows for steady, sustainable growth. When coaches commit to their authenticity and trust in their processes, they create a strong foundation for long-term success.

Tip 10: Your Presence is the Foreplay ~ Angela Thurston

Angela Thurston gazing softly at the camera, wearing a white off-the-shoulder blouse and pearl drop earrings, with one hand resting gently on her neck in a softly lit, intimate portrait.

Based on Angela’s extensive experience, the most powerful thing a coach can do is inner work around their wealth consciousness: not just setting goals, but fully embodying their inner magic and living it in their daily life. By integrating the limiting beliefs and aligning energetically with their highest frequency, a coach naturally attracts the clients they are here to serve. Because of the intimate and sensitive nature of this work, showing up with vulnerability in your social media presence and content is just as crucial as alignment. Clients need to feel like they truly “know, like, trust” you. That means showing up authentically, sharing personal stories, and letting yourself be seen—not just explaining what you offer. Consistently building genuine client relationships, Angela emphasizes, “requires a lot of foreplay—it’s not just about what we do, it is who we be.”

Tip 11: One Person, Problem & Solution ~ Emily Fletcher

Emily Fletcher laughing radiantly in sunlight, wearing a burnt orange halter top and gold pendant necklace, with a soft pink and yellow gradient overlay creating a dreamy, vibrant atmosphere.

One person, one problem, and one solution, an insight Emily Fletcher learned from Kate Northrup, guides coaches to gain clarity on their ideal client’s avatar by focusing on the single challenge they will address with a targeted solution. Since the pandemic, Emily has observed a growing demand for human connection. In 2025, a business will become more profitable when they blend digital content to cast a wide net with live, in-person interactions, both online and face-to-face, to forge deeper connections.

Finally, getting crystal clear on your numbers and knowing exactly what your business needs to generate to support your desired lifestyle is crucial. This focus ensures that your business aligns with your life goals while consistently creating more value for your audience than you capture.

Final Tip: Creativity Comes from Clarity ~ Victoria Steward

Victoria Steward smiling warmly with her hands resting on her cheeks, wearing a teal tank top and seated comfortably, radiating grounded joy and approachability.

During my conversations with the 11 amazing experts and especially during the interviews with Sara, Chloe, Annie and Angela, a theme became clear: your capacity to hold more wealth, clients and success is directly tied to your beliefs around money, worthiness, and expansion. If your business isn’t growing the way you want, it’s worth asking: Is there space for that growth to happen?

Emily’s insight in Tip 11, getting crystal clear on your numbers, is a powerful key to unlocking that space. In my experience, the Profit for Keeps® Framework has been a game-changer for lifting the weight of uncertainty that can block the flow of financial abundance.  I have seen the reverse engineered revenue goal:

  1. Reveal that your business is already meeting your needs and desires

  2. Open up creative pathways to restructure your offers, refine pricing or just add a few more clients to create the business and life you truly want.

Moving from a place of scarcity and uncertainty into hope, joy and excitement is a simple yet powerful shift. Imagine running your business with full confidence that your revenue is aligned with your personal and professional goals… knowing from the start that your business is profitable.
